Tigé Boats President Daniel Gutierrez Named 2026 Mover & Shaker Finalist

ABILENE, Texas, Nov. 6, 2026 — Tigé Boats, Inc., a premium wake and wakesurf boat manufacturer, announced that Daniel Gutierrez, president of Tigé Boats and ATX Surf Boats, has been named a 2026 Mover & Shaker finalist by Boating Industry, one of only two finalists selected industry-wide this year. The annual program honors leaders who haven't been afraid to take chances, to rethink the way they do business, and to embrace the challenges facing the marine industry head on.

Gutierrez's story with Tigé began in 2004 when he joined the company as a graphic designer. What started as a role in marketing and design grew into a career spanning nearly every area of the business. After nearly a decade leading marketing and product design, Gutierrez was named Chief Operating Officer in 2018 before stepping into the role of President in 2020.

Throughout his career, Gutierrez has pushed Tigé to look past what's already been done and find new ways to move the company forward. He has led the design of 34 surf/wake boats, launched ATX Surf Boats as an entry-level wake and surf boat brand in 2019, and introduced the Ultré ZX Class in 2023 as Tigé's flagship.
