Ovation Hollywood Rings in the Holidays with a Slate of Events

Annual Tree Lighting, Santa Photos, and Family-Friendly Events Bring Cheer to Hollywood

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6, 2026 — Ovation Hollywood is ushering in the holiday season with a festive lineup of (mostly free) events and experiences that will turn the destination into a winter wonderland. From its annual tree lighting and holiday markets to family-friendly entertainment, Santa visits, seasonal workshops, and a Menorah lighting, the center will come alive with glittering yuletide magic.

The festivities kick off on November 21 with Ovation Hollywood's annual Tree Lighting and AKASSA Holiday Market, giving visitors a chance to shop seasonal offerings from women-owned small businesses while sipping hot chocolate and cookies as they wait for Santa to light the tree in the Courtyard.

On November 27, the cheerfulness carries on with a holiday double-header starting with the family-friendly Make Merry Mixer, featuring a whimsical marionette performance by the Bob Baker Marionette Theatre at 4:30 pm followed by a holiday kids' craft. As the evening sets in, guests can settle in with a free screening of two holiday favorites, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and A Christmas Story, starting at 5:30 pm. Before the screening, Mrs. Claus will bring the magic of the beloved reindeer with a live reading of the storybook, where guests can cozy up with complimentary blankets and hot cocoa before the film.

Throughout the holiday season, guests will also be able to capture a little holiday magic with complimentary photos with Santa at his booth from November 27 through December 24. Photos with Santa will be located on Level 3 of the property, across from Bopomofo Cafe, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays and 12:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

In December, Ovation Hollywood will partner with Chabad of Hollywood for its Grand Menorah Lighting from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on December 8 to bring the community together and celebrate the season with an evening honoring tradition, light, and togetherness.

Continuing the seasonal celebrations, ticketed guests can deck the halls with flair during the Craft & Cocktail series. The hands-on workshop will feature a wreath-making class on December 3 and a candle-pouring class on December 10. Tickets will be available on Eventbrite starting at $45 per person or two for $75.

As in past years, stilt walkers and carolers will bring their festival cheer to the property all season long. Don't forget to check out these other notable events:

• The 94th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade returns to Hollywood Boulevard on November 29. Turn parade watching into an event of fun at Ovation.
• A special performance from the Jonesboro High School Marching Band in Center Courtyard on December 28 ahead of their appearance in the Rose Bowl Parade

"We're excited to create an atmosphere filled with seasonal traditions, family-friendly experiences, and connecting with our community," said Amy Brenot, Director of Specialty Leasing and Marketing at Ovation Hollywood. "The holidays are an opportunity to bring people together, and we're excited to help Angelenos and visitors get into the spirit."

Ovation Hollywood's annual holiday programming echoes its ongoing commitment to creating memorable experiences that bring the community together through seasonal celebrations and year-round events, inviting Angelenos and visitors alike to gather and celebrate the vibrant hub that is Los Angeles.
